Are you an experienced and licensed Audiologist seeking a flexible opportunity or additional income alongside your current role? Join Empower Mental Health, a fast-growing private-pay organization dedicated to supporting provider growth and delivering high-quality services to our Veteran population. In this role, you will conduct VA audiology hearing loss and Tinnitus testing. These are structured, objective testthat assist the VA in determining disability benefits. This is a non-treatment role focused strictly on evaluation, testing, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Conduct Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans Perform structured hearing and tinnitus-related evaluations based on VA guidelines Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized audiology testing protocols Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews Complete audiometric testing and related clinical documentation as required Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports in VA-required formats Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes Complete and submit documentation within required timeframes Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment Adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards
