Founded on a vision of empowerment

Empower was founded in 2019 by Dr. Yisroel Loeb, a licensed clinical psychologist with extensive experience providing behavioral healthcare to Veterans. Throughout his clinical career, Dr. Loeb has personally evaluated and treated more than 6,000 Veterans, giving him firsthand insight into the unique psychological, cultural, and clinical complexities of Veteran care.

That experience shaped the foundation of Empower. Dr. Loeb recognized that exceptional patient outcomes begin with supporting exceptional clinicians, yet too often providers were undervalued by the organizations they served. He built Empower on the belief that when clinicians are respected, empowered, and equipped with the right resources, they deliver better care for every patient.

Today, Dr. Loeb’s clinical philosophy continues to influence how Empower delivers care. Every provider in our network is trained and supported with an approach informed by decades of real-world experience treating Veterans, emphasizing evidence-based care, comprehensive documentation, compassionate communication, and a deep understanding of the unique challenges Veterans face. The result is a care model that improves outcomes for patients while strengthening the healthcare professionals who serve them.
